Who is Gen Z?

Gen Z (Generation Z) are also known as Zoomers. They are a generation born from the mid or late 1990s (1997) to the early 2000s (2012). They are young people who do their own things the way they like them just as we will see in Gen Z fashion.

Gen Z are dubbed computer literate because they are the first social generation to have widespread access to the internet or portable digital technology. This however doesn’t mean that they all understand technology beyond the basics (social media, taking pictures, videos, etc.) Religiously, they are probably the least religious generation in history.

In this article, we are more intrigued with the Gen Z fashion trend and influencers.

Popular Gen Z Fashion Trends

Fashion trends are constantly evolving and changing. Reflecting the changing tastes, and preferences of different generations. Gen Z however seems to take fashion personally, they have taken fashion and made it better than the millennials. A few of these popular Gen Z fashion trends include;

    Tinted sunglasses add an extra dimension to any look. On cloudy days with no sunlight, You can still rock them because they are more for fashion purposes.

  • Crocs:

    The rubber shoe has existed forever, yet the Gen Z has rocked it better than the generation it came with.

    The love Gen Z has for Beaded pieces of jewelry cannot be emphasized enough. From the beaded necklaces to the hand bands (bangles) to the waist beads.

  • Mini skirts:

    Somehow this generation  (Gen Z) has found a way to make mini skirts more mini and below the waistline. It gives them a cooler look (so they say) in their bid to keep up with the Gen Z fashion trend.
