In recognition of his contributions to international diplomacy and the strengthened bond between the two nations, PM Modi was honored with Nigeria’s highest civilian award, the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger. Accepting the accolade, he expressed gratitude on behalf of the Indian people and reiterated India’s dedication to enhancing the India-Nigeria partnership.
